With our Whole Home Maintenance protection plan, there is no charge for trips by our technician to your home for troubleshooting and repairs of covered items:
- All of your inside wiring for Lost Nation-Elwood Communications services including internet, telephone, and digital video
- Digital set-top boxes and Ethernet switches originally installed by Lost Nation-Elwood Communications and leased by you
For reference, replacement costs for a set-top box range from $150 to $265, so having our Whole Home Maintenance protection plan could save you considerable money.
Understanding the Plan
- The Whole Home Maintenance protection plan is available to Lost Nation-Elwood Communications residential customers and covers the inside wiring actively used to provide our services.
- Subscription to the Whole Home Maintenance protection plan also covers leased set-top boxes and Ethernet switches originally installed by us.
- The Whole Home Maintenance protection plan becomes effective the date the customer subscribes to the plan and the subscription must be in effect for repair work to be covered by the plan.
- Coverage does not extend to any customer-owned devices, such as telephones, televisions, DVRs, computers, network interface cards, wireless access points, switches, routers, or gaming consoles.
- Damage from negligence or intentional acts, including accidental water damage, is not covered. Labor for troubleshooting or diagnosing issues caused by non-covered or customer-owned equipment will be billed at the current rate.
